On 10 May, “El Viajero” (The Traveller) supplement of El País Newspaper featured an article about Moraig Cove (Cumbre del Sol Residential Estates, Benitatxell), under the title “10 wonderful Spanish beaches debuting the Blue Flag”.
The article states about Moraig Cove:
“OPEN TO THE SEA: Moraig Cove, Benitatxell (Alicante). This year, 579 Spanish beaches will wave the blue flag, 75 of them are features for the first time in the list. We have chosen the ten most interesting. The first thing we will do on the way to this wonderful artificial cove is to reserve table at La Cumbre Restaurant (www.restaurantelacumbre.com) to later have a nice rice with anchovies and spinach or lobster in cauldron. Moraig Cove –and its hundred meters high cliffs- are very well regarded among Alicante province’s beaches. Since it is very open to the sea, the lifesaving team leaded by Eusebio Miñana stands out by its effectiveness.”
We totally agreed with the suggestion of this article: eating at La Cumbre Restaurant -under the direction of Celia and Eloy- is an absolute pleasure.
