El Chiringuito Algas beach bar in Moraira joins the Amigos del Sol Club, one of the chicest bars on the Costa Blanca and a classic in Moraira, a must if you are going to Moraira.

Next to the L’Andragó Cove and now part of the restaurant and leisure complex Algas Centre, we find this wonderful beach bar which is open all day, Monday through to Sunday, at the Algas Chiringuito Beach Bar you can enjoy breakfast or a midmorning refreshment, fast food (salad, sandwiches, burgers, tapas ,…), a meal at the restaurant, a coffee, a drink, a cocktail in the evening watching the night fall and a romantic dinner and night out at this wonderful location facing the Mediterranean Sea.

Moraira is the most expensive town in the Valencia Region for property

According to the semi-annual report on purchase prices carried out by the research bureau of Real Estate Market Index for Apartments (IMIP) for Spain, Moraira (Teulada) is the town within the Alicante province with the highest prices in the Valencian Region.

The IMIP represents the change in price per square meter of housing in Spain by Autonomous Regions, Provinces and Municipalities, based on data from January 2009. The report indicated that the Valencian autonomy is the fifth autonomous region with the most affordable housing in the country.

Restaurant-grill Salamandra joins the Amigos del Sol club

This month the members of the Amigos del Sol Club are in luck with the new addition of the Salamandra Restaurant-Grill in the Algas Centre of Moraira, Teulada with a special discount offered to all Club members.

The menu from the Salamandra Grill Restaurant included exquisite starter dishes with an assortment of “cocas” (flatbread pastries), a selection of salted fish, tasting of pates and a selection of Iberian ham and of national and imported cheeses. There is also a wide variety of meats, amongst which we recommend Segoviano Style Roast Suckling Pig, Roast Baby Lamb and the Chateaubriand.

As the months pass by, the Amigos del Sol Club continues to grow, both in number of members and associated companies. On this occasion, Collection World Moraira, an art store for home and garden at factory prices, has joined the club.

The Collection World shop is part of the Algas Centre Moraira, on the road between Moraira and Calpe on the km no. 121.
