Civil Procedure Law Reform: Tenants in arrears.
This law -considered a step ahead in landlords rights- has the main purpose of streamlining the processes in case of default by the tenant, and allowing the landlord to recover his /her home in two or three months without a trial. It is expected that this legislation will promote rent in Spain.

Survey: Outstanding performance for Alicante Airport
Alicante Airport users awarded the new facilities with the highest score in its history as reported by AENA Airports press release (13 September, 2011) after the opening of the new terminal and improved services. Users have awarded the airport facilities with 4.15 points out of a maximum of 5.
The highest rated areas were the check-in hall, the comfort of the airport and information services.
This assessment was obtained after the users evaluated a total of nine areas of activity, including cleanliness, temperature and noise level in the boarding area, ticketing, facilities comfort and information services.
Blue Flags in Alicante Province
Alicante is the province with the most blue flags in Spain. We can assure without any doubt that the beaches of this province are hands down the best in Spain, as the officially received acknowledgements granted by the Environmental Education Foundation and the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism clearly show.
A total of 66 blue flags will wave in the province of Alicante, representing the quality of its waters and hard-to-compare facilities. 55 of these 66 flags have been granted to its beaches, and 11 to its yacht clubs.
